Sr. Sales Analyst

Warner Bros. International TV Distribution Inc. seeks Sr. Sales Analyst for the Int’l TV Distribution – Sales & Business Development. Position will prepare financial models to value existing and potential licensing opportunities. Provide on going support to assist sales executives evaluate options to improve deal terms. Support business plan preparation and analysis. Source and summarize relevant market reports and articles of interest to CAPLA territory for internal circulation. Analyze relevant research (customer/industry/market trends, windows, show performance) to highlight developments relevant to support on going and future negotiations. Maintain deal summaries and coordinate with local sales executives and Legal to identify upcoming renewals of key deals in all media windows. Coordinate with European offices to identify best practice information and share these key learnings with other sales executives and management. Create reports to monitor performance of existing deals and to summarize key terms of active series and feature films. Prepare ad hoc analysis and presentations as requested.

Requirements
BA/BS degree required – in Finance preferred. 3-5 years in operational or corporate financial role. Television or other media experience preferred. Knowledge of relevant International markets a plus. Excellent financial modeling skills. Experience providing analytical support for deal negotiation. Ability to understand, analyze and present complex deals. Ability to interpret term sheets and legal contracts. Interface with sales, financial and legal staff to gather information to support deal analysis. Highly competent Microsoft Office user preparing Excel business models, managing Access databases and creating PowerPoint presentations. Familiar with television licensing business practices including windows, technologies and major players in International markets. Ability to source, evaluate and summarize market research. Strong written communication skills with an emphasis on creating succinct and lucid reports. Self motivated and intellectually curious with strong initiative and excellent attention to detail. Team player able to multi-task and work with a wide range of people.
