Everest College – San Francisco, CAGeneral Duties:Advise students regarding payment difficultiesCollect cash or credit card payments from studentsTrack, monitor and bill third party payersDevelop and maintain Cash Receipts JournalAssist in charging tuition, fees, monthly earnings review, and reviews of student accounts for accuracyProcess disbursements to the appropriate student accountsReview student cash payment plans for completeness and accuracy; update appropriate tracking systemsProcess monthly/quarterly billing statements for established payment plansPerform diligent follow-up on missing or late payments due from studentsProcess Change in Student Status reportsBookstore management duties as assignedRequirements:1-2 years’ experience in a business environment, preferably in banking or accountingCollections experience is a plus, but not requiredComputer experienceStrong communication skills and attention to detailEnergetic, enthusiastic self-starterWe offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits including a comprehensive healthcare program and 401(k) plan.
