Tax Accountant

Description: Prepare and file federal and state income, franchise, and excise tax returns for Company Analyze financial transactions to determine appropriate tax treatment for both federal and state tax purposes Issue written and verbal instructions to various accounting offices responsible for reporting of financial transactions to the Tax Department Resolve issues with data providers related to reporting of transactions Forecast tax liabilities and pay tax declarations Develop and maintain effective working relationships with federal and state government auditors conducting examinations of federal and state income, franchise and excise tax returns Perform tax research as necessary to provide analytical support to business units tasked with evaluating proposed transactions Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Minimum 3 years tax experience – corporate and/or public CPA and/or MS Tax preferred MS Office and Tax software experience  Who We Are: CSI Search is the professional recruiting arm of The CSI Companies.
