Tax Senior Consultant - Tax Accounting Services There is a tax implication for almost every transaction a company undertakes, from trading to acquisition to offshoring. Even the most sophisticated global companies often struggle with balancing compliance details and long-term tax strategy. The tax specialists of Deloitte Tax LLP ("Deloitte Tax") have the perspective to help companies understand national, state and local and international tax structures and align the tax function with business objectives. The Deloitte Tax professionals of the National Tax Management Services practice work with local office Deloitte Tax professionals to assist clients with fundamental tax planning and analysis.  These tax professionals work to understand company-specific business and tax issues and work with the company to optimize its tax position and identify and mitigate risk areas.   Tax Senior Consultants use their expertise in accounting and taxation with tax planning projects and provide consulting services to federal clients. They must be familiar with the tax consulting process and the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, development and implementation of clients' tax needs.  Tax Management Services (TMS) is a new combined service line consisting of Cosourcing, TMAS, and TAS.  TMS will help launch, common technology platforms, shared people development strategies, a single knowledge-sharing resource, and a unified targeting and marketing process.   Requirements:       -FAS 109 Experience/Knowledge     -Technology/Software Experience & Knowledge     -Tax Provision & Compliance Software such as CorpTax, Tax Stream, Liquid     Engines, In-Source, etc.     -Project Management Skills     -Previous work experience with large corporations/clients     -Undergrad or Graduate degrees in Accounting     -CPA, or eligible to sit for the CPA exam     -60-70% travel to client locations   Experience: - at least two years of public accounting experience or equivalent in law firms orindustry - Excellent Research and Writing skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field - Flexibility for travel - Proven, excellent interaction skills with management/executive presence - Prior Big 4 experience a plus - CPA, Enrolled Agent or other appropriate certification required - Advanced Degree preferred: MST, MAcc, JD or LL.M About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
