Treasury Manager

Our client is seeking a talented Treasury Manager to join their growing team in the Phoenix area. Qualified individual will have extensive experience with corporate finance, foreign exchange risk management, and/or portfolio management and at least 7 years of broad treasury experience.Basic Job Functions: Supports Treasurer on key projects, such as debt, equity, project financing and cash repartition strategies. Focus on corporate finance function while providing oversight and support to other treasury functions, such as foreign exchange and portfolio management. Managing debt / Covenant submissions Provide submissions for drawdowns, including necessary reps and warranties and conditions precedent Coordinate with Accounting on entries required for interest expense and fees charged. Provide oversight and support to other treasury functions such as foreign exchange risk management and/or portfolio management. Prepare / organize / review covenant submissions quarterly for all facilities. Monitor interest rates, update debt schedule Credit Assessments Perform financial analysis for existing customers and new Determine if bank guarantee required to cover AR Work with Accounting to determine if and when we should drawdown on guarantee Monitor guarantee renewals, advise operations of need to renew Monitor and update cash flow forecast for future cash flow needs Support cash repartition strategies with tax. Drive amendments to existing debt facilities. Manage debt and interest rate swaps, prepare drawdown and repayments, and monitor associated covenants. Cash flow forecasting to determine future cash needs. Prepare customer credit assessments and monitor associated bank guarantees. Establish criteria for company credit rating and implement. Drive amendments to existing debt facilities. Coordinate with Accounting team on prospective journal entries and SEC reporting. Perform ad hoc financial analyses as required.Experience:Minimum seven years broad treasury experience, with experience in corporate finance, foreign exchange risk management, and/or portfolio management.Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. CFA or MBA preferred.Required Skills: Clear understanding of basic financial concepts, such as the term structure of interest rates, business quantitative statistics, and financial ratios. Project management expertise. Working knowledge of ERP systems as they function in large public companies, preferable but not required.
