Project Accountant - 15 Month Contract

We are currently seeking a Project Accountant to work in our Calgary office. You will be responsible for the overall financial set-up, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of projects. You will partner with Kasian Project Managers to drive best practice processes and provide information on core financial objectives. You will facilitate management decisions by developing and managing project details, controls, and metrics to provide an ongoing objective analysis of the success of each project.
The successful candidate is comfortable interacting and communicating with a range of people; whether Project Managers, Principals, administrators, or vendors. With 5+ years of accounting experience, you draw on your technical knowledge and emotional intelligence to thrive in a deadline driven environment. You are an accomplished professional who holds a CA/ CMA/ CGA accounting designation or are working towards one.
