Our client is a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm with over 100 years of business experience.  Due to continued growth a full-time position available for an architect with the aviation architecture department in their Madison, WI office. 

 

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: producing architectural construction documents, coordinate multi-disciplinary construction documents, and working with both clients and senior team members.

 

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited school or college, be licensed as an architect in Wisconsin (or have the ability to obtain license in six months of hire), and have at least seven years of project architect experience.

 

The ideal candidate will possess experience with any/all of the following: 

experience working with CAD, ADT; construction drawings/ specifications development; construction observation.  In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience with airports (terminals, control towers, etc.), healthcare facilities, justice/court facilities, municipal facilities, higher education buildings, military facilities.  The ideal candidate will also have the ability to take and carry out instructions; possess LEED certification; handle a fast-paced position; work well under pressure; be goal- and deadline-oriented; have good organizational, listening, and clarification skills; NCARB certification (or eligibility for certification) is a plus.
