PDC Manager
Primary Purpose of Job:
To direct and supervise PDC activities to ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective storage, retrieval and delivery of requested parts to MB Retailers while maintaining MBUSA and ISO 9001 quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include adhering to the administration of Human Resources policies and procedures by interviewing, recommending hiring, training requirements, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating team/individual, appraising performance, developing team/individual plans for technical and professional skills, recommending rewards and disciplinary actions (addressing complaints, resolving problems, recommending terminations).
- Monitor and control PDC procedures to ensure that volume and quality standards are satisfied.
- Ensure that the parts storage is maintained in the most efficient and practical way; that location administration is carried out properly, and that warehouse is kept in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
- Ensure that DAG and domestic shipments and returns from dealers are processed and binned in a timely manner so that they are available for sales without delay.
- Ensure that facility and equipment are maintained in good condition. Ensure that buildings and grounds are maintained in good condition.
- Ensure that all warehouse operations meet MBUSA and ISO 9001 quality standards to ensure that retailer orders are processed and shipping in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that all special projects, i.e., annual physical inventories and parts scrapping, are achieved within the specified time frame.
