IT Process and Compliance Specialist

The People Bank is recruiting an IT Process and Compliance Specialist for our client in Barrie location.

Responsibilities:

Ensure system management processes and procedures are maintained or modified as necessary through capital work projects and regular lifecycle maintenance activities.
Conduct compliance and audit activities as required by existing policies and procedures.
Apply your knowledge of ITIL or other Systems Management Frameworks to modify existing or create new processes to address deficiencies identified either by external parties (audits) or internally.
Working independently, and with others both inside the department and outside to meet PSITs compliance obligations with regards to conducting compliance activities, summarizing and reporting results.
Develop and maintain processes and procedures in support of PSITs NERC CIP Compliance requirements, as well as the departments Systems Management requirements.

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of the implementation of either Systems Management Frameworks (such as ITIL) to IT organizations, or experience in developing and deploying compliance activities in relation to regulations such as NERC CIP or other compliance requirements.
Familiarity with power system operation, practices and policies.
Familiarity with NERC CIP requirements and Cyber Security.
Requires knowledge of technical writing to prepare effective Policy Directives and Reports.
Experience in organizing and tracking activities as would be required by on-going compliance to industry regulations.
Experience with compliance and/or auditing.
Requires proficiency in English to communicate effectively with others, to be able to collect information from documents and prepare effective correspondence and interact with clients related to NERC CIP requirements.
