Residential Mortgage Originator (62) - Lowell/Lawrence
Eastern Bank is looking for an experienced Residential Loan Officer to represent the bank throughout Lowell and Lawrence area. Candidates for this position must have solid knowledge of residential mortgage bankingand strong sales background. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Interviewing loan applicants, analyzing credit reports, and preparing and reviewing loan documents.
* Soliciting residential mortgages through contact with realtors, builders, developers and housing organizations; encouraging loan referrals from retail branch staff.
* Advising potential borrowers of the specific features of the loan program selected that may impact their future ability to service the debt (such as ARM rate resets and balloon payments).
* Calling on potential or existing clients to develop new business or retain existing business, both in person and over the telephone.
* Representing the Bank in various civic community functions to further enhanceEastern's image and develop or promote additional business relationships.
* Marketing assigned territory to improve market share in the area
