Biomat USA, Inc., along with PlasmaCare, Inc., have a network of over 80 plasmapheresis donor centers throughout the United States. These state-of-the-art facilities collect plasma from donors and operate according to the highest standards of quality.

POSTION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of operations of the donor center, supervising operations and quality control, and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Create appropriate organizational environment and value system which stimulates the morale and productivity of the work force and its leadership.
2. Provide strategic direction, planning, and customer focus.
3. Perform any/all tasks within the plasma center; train production employees and demonstrate how tasks are to be performed to meet company standards, and on occasion, fulfill the role of production employees when the need arises.
4. Supervise the implementation of improvements.
5. Organize, develop, and utilize management team.
6. Maintain thorough familiarity with State and Federal regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP.
7. Supervise donor selection, plasma collection, and all manufacturing records to maintain the highest production standards in accordance with Federal and State regulations, with FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure manual, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP, through systems in place and via Quality Supervisor.
8. Responsible for all personnel functions including hiring, development and training, disciplinary actions and termination, and maintenance of all personnel records.
9. Determine adequacy of inventory of all goods and supplies necessary for center operation to include ordering goods as needed.
10. Assure that subordinates maintain the facility in a neat and clean condition and that all equipment is kept in good working order.
11. Due to the amounts of inventory we carry, in the event of an emergency, you will be required to answer all freezer alarms and deal with them appropriately.
12. Submit timely and accurate reports as necessary, daily, weekly, monthly and as requested.
13. Develop an active donor recruitment advertising campaign to improve production levels.
14. Control center donor funds and ensure that financial records are accurate and in order.
15. Keep immediate superior informed of any irregularities within the center and provide constructive information about process improvements.
16. Minimize center liability through constant risk management review.
17. Signed Statement of Responsibility and Curriculum Vitae on file at the center and Authorized Official’s office.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1. College Degree (unless waived by senior management of Biomat USA, Inc.).
2. Evaluation and/or translation of any foreign education (high school, university, or professional training) must be provided.

REQUIRED SKILLS.

1. Must have legible handwriting.

2. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

3. Must be able to use a computer.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to travel via automobile and/or airplane.

2. Ability to stand for extended periods of time – up to four (4) hours at a time.

3. Ability to view video display terminal less than 18” away from face – up to four (4) hours a time.

4. Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifty (50) pounds.

5. Ability to handle mental stress.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

1.One (1) year plasma experience, including six months experience as an Assistant Manager.
