Retail Store Manager
The Company:
For the past 35 years Traditions by Pamela Kline has led the industry in high quality designer bed linens. Our Company Store in Manchester, VT features an intimate collection of first quality and discontinued merchandise and enjoys a loyal following among locals and visitors alike.

The Position:
Leads the staff in selling by working directly with customers to coordinate custom bedding combinations.
Â
Creates staff schedule ensuring all shifts are covered.Â
   Â
Maintans store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Â
Maintains store results by coaching the staff and acting as a positive role model for the company.
Â
Tracks current and future customer feedback and establishes rapport with potential and actual customers and local business owners/managers.
Â
Ensures availability of merchandise by maintaining inventories.
Â
Consults with main office to determine when/if additional needed sales promotions are needed; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.
Â
Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of store to ensure that the presentation is consistent with company policy.
Â
Receives, tags, and stocks new shipments as they arrive and integrates new merchandise into displays.
Â
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Â
The Requirements:
Minimum 2 years retail managment or at least 5 years of retail experience.
Â
Outstanding customer service and verbal skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with efficiency, tact, and diplomacy.
Â
Comfort with home decorating, color combinations and working with fabrics.
Â
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word, email, digital camera, and internet. More advanced skills a plus.
