Operations Manager

We have a great opportunity in Madison, WI for an Operations Manager at a high profile customer account. The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision and training of trades personnel in appropriate disciplines. Training includes company rules and guidelines in addition to specific work being done as it relates to specific building systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Management also reserves the right to change or modify this position description from time to time to meet the needs of the building(s). · Supervisory responsibilities include assignment of personnel in the day to day activities (scheduling) in addition to handling emergency requests. · Ensure the proper operation of all building equipment, systems and that all personnel assigned to the building(s) work in a safe manner and in a safe environment. Promote a culture of safety in all employee communications. · Scheduling of maintenance, work orders, building tours and repairs · Proper completion of records for work performed within the building(s) · Advocate the cooperation of all personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the entire department · Coordinate activities of contractors, engineers, consultants and other in constructions, renovations and repair projects · Responsible for conducting and completing performance evaluations of all personnel · Effectively recommend the hiring, transferring, suspension, promotion, discharge and disciplinary action of all assigned personnel · Maintain a professional, safe and clean environment Education & Work Experience · Graduate of a technical or trade school · Should have a minimum of ten years experience in the curriculum · Should have at least three – five years of supervisory experience · Ability to read blueprints, control sequences and have a clear understanding of codes and regulations Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: (Preferred) · 1st Class Engineer License · HVAC Universal License and or 1st Fireman License UGL Unicco offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package to include health, dental and vision insurance, STD, LTD, vacation, personal, and sick days, 401K, educational assistance and much more.
