MSDE requires child care application, medical exam and background check to be completed.

Come join our team for an exciting career working with school age children. Our Summer Program is action packed with field trips, weekly themes, and a fun year-end summer cookout.

Hours are as follows:
School Days: Monday - Friday, 6:25 to 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. (work 6 hours, paid for 8 hours)

School delayed opening and closing: work 2 hours additional - depending on school hours
Non-School days and Summer: 8 hour shift varies between 6:25 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Benefits available to employees: Paid vacation, holiday pay, paid 1st Aid/CPR training, medical insurance and discounted child care. Some benefits are not available until probationary employment status is successfully completed.


Technical requirements :
90 clock hour Child Development certification and 45 hr School Age Care Certificate (prior to Fall 2008).
90 clock hour certificate including school age module (beginning Fall 2008).
1 year experience working as a Group Leader.
Candidates should have some experinence with :
School Age children
