Evening Receptionist
JOB TITLE: Evening Receptionist
STATUS/HOURS: Non-exempt/part-time, evenings and some weekends
DEPARTMENT: Admissions
REPORTS TO: Director of Admissions
LOCATION: WEST Campus
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing multi-line telephone system, greeting visitors, handling incoming/outgoing mail, and performing routine clerical tasks for the admissions department.
JOB FUNCTIONS
· Answer and all direct calls
· Keeps track of daily inquiry log
· Responsible for retrieving & routing voice mail messages
· Responsible for updating voice mail recording as needed
· Greets and assists visitors
· Directs visitors to appropriate party
· Provides prospective students with information sheet
· Prepares enrollment folders for acceptance
· Supports open house functions.
· Prepares new student acceptance letters when needed
· Prepares other correspondence as needed
· All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Ability to meet and deal effectively with students and visitors
· Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all associates
· Requires good planning, organizing, and communication skills
· Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Word.
EDUCATION
· Associates degreed preferred, will consider a candidate with at least 50 credits completed and
significant previous receptionist experience.
