Position Description:

Norwalk, OH - The Material Control Specialist will be responsible for procurement scheduling and distribution of materials, parts, equipment, and supplies for Gyrus ACMI.​ EOE M/​F/​D/​V

Requirements and Responsibilities:

* Directly responsible for the creation of daily, weekly priority schedules to satisfy the master production plan and maintain customer Days on Hand inventory levels.​

* Responsible for planning and maintaining P.​O.​'s per MRP requirements.​

* Ensure supplier's acknowledgement of purchase orders are consistent with required dates of stock supplies by monitoring ERP and visual material triggers.​

* Track past due work/​purchase orders and take appropriate action.​

* Support Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions on a timely basis as required; process paperwork to complete RTV process of NCR's.​

* Assist in identifying and resolving inventory errors.​

* Ensure that all necessary paperwork accompany each order and shipment.​

* Work closely with quality control/​assurance personnel to assure the timely release and delivery of all products to meet projected schedules.​

* Review and approve Engineering Changes and work closely with the engineering department on various projects as required.​

* Serve as a primary contact with manufacturing regarding planning issues.​

* Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO and Corporate Quality System regulations.​ Adhere to established company policies and procedures.​

* Act as material clerk/​coordinator as necessary and assist as required.​

* Communicate on a corporate level to assure any and all interplant transfers of materials are achieved on an accurate and timely basis.​

* Responsible for Oracle transactions of scrap tickets and repair clearing of REX scopes daily.​ Maintain REX bank, printing of MO's prints, stock logs and new repetitive schedules monthly.​ Validate repetitive schedules to insure inventory accuracy.​

* Perform all other related duties as assigned.​



Qualifications:

(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)

* A Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical discipline is required.​

* A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning and materials control function, preferably in a regulated environment is required.​

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential.​

* Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to negotiate.​

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required.​

* Must be detail oriented with strong computer skills that includes ERP systems, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Access.​

* An APICS certification is preferred.​

* A well rounded supply chain management style is preferred.​

* The following physical demand is required:
