Currently recruiting for: MSHA Electrician / NARM
Job Description:
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair in a safe and efficient manner all equipment required for mining and plant operations. Includes welding and mechanical task as required and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Qualifications: Ability and commitment to work safely. Two (2) years mine related electrical experience or completion of a two (2) year associate degree in electrical/electronics technology. Prefer experience in: design, installation, trouble-shooting, and repairing electronic systems and circuits. MSHA certification (low, medium, and high voltage). Have experience installing, programming and trouble-shooting PLC's, Allen Bradley, SqD, Modicon, Reliance and GE. Must have experience trouble-shooting and maintaining DC control systems for shovels and draglines or similar type control systems. Understand and use electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
The North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM) - the largest and most productive mine in North America - shipped a new industry record of 91.5 million tons of low-sulfur coal. Investments in a world-class dragline, blending technology and conveyor systems at the mine have driven productivity while reducing costs. Located 65 miles south of Gillette, the facility daily loads up to 5,900 railcars. Trainloads of coal shipped from the mine would stretch from Los Angeles to Boston and back again.
