Sr.​ Outside Sales Representative – Comm/​Data

The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a self-motivated Sr.​ Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell Graybar’s products in compliance with Company pricing policies and instructions to achieve maximum gross margin rate.​ You will progressively manage and maintain contacts with established customers and source new business through prospecting new customers.​ Sales Representative must customarily and regularly engage in work away from company's place of business.​ You will create quotations and manage customer-pricing matrices for assigned accounts; handle customer complaints promptly and effectively; report potential claims; and perform other duties as assigned.​ We are looking for an individual who possess the sales skills, the aptitude to learn and apply new skills/​knowledge, and a sincere interest in a career – not just a job.​

The Requirements:
A Bachelors degree is preferred.​ The ideal candidate will have two to four years’ Comm/​Data specific experience.​ A broad knowledge of product line and pricing.​ Proven ability to learn our business and to work independently to achieve goals.​ Negotiation skills along with ability to sell and be persuasive.​ A broad knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.​ A professional appearance and demeanor and an acceptable driving record.​ This position may require onsite customer visits.​
