Mechanical Engineer

Our client is looking to bring on a Mechanical Engineer to their team. This person will be working closely with 3 other Engineers and will take on a leadership role. A background in industrial pump system design, reverse engineering (tolerances for fitting and measurements) and lean manufacturing are all considered assets along with any product management and supervisory experience. This person will be working closely with the shop crew and will assist in clarifying and making any necessary corrections to the shop drawings. In addition, this person will also be responsible for document and revision control. There may be some occasional travel involved to client sites within Canada and the United States.

Applicants must have the following:

- P.Eng Designation
- 5+ years hands-on machine shop experience
- Industrial Manufacturing Background (DFMA, machining, liaising with shop floor, assembly drawings, fixing drawings)
- 1+ years hands-on experience with Solid works
