Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to participate in the design and development of emerging technology for Advanced Firewall Appliance software. The ideal candidate has proven experience in participating in/leading large Software Projects. This would include past experience in design, development, and creation of a usable and stable product.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work closely with a cross functional team to design new features
• Work closely with fellow developers on SW/system architecture
• Review and sign off on requirements documents
• Write specification documents and drive sign-off
• Implement new features and extend existing functionality
Required skills:
Strong Networking and protocol knowledge
10+ years of Development Experience on Embedded systems in a Linux environment
Programming skills in C/C++, Python
Identity/Active Directory/Radius/LDAP
Security products such as Firewalls and web proxies
Familiarity with Virtualization
Highly Desired skills:
Experience with one or more of the following:
Classification engines
Designing management plane with world class configuration and reporting capabilities
Designing security policy framework
Network Management Systems
Event Handling and Logging
Collaborative protocols such as Sharepoint/wiki
