National Sales Manager

We are also a manufacturer and distributer on the local and national

level to the jan/san market for cleaning compounds, oil and grease absorbents, and ice melt products.

 

We are seeking a motivated and results driven individual to grow and maintain our customer base, some of which have been in place for fifty plus years.

 

As a small business, our national sales manager is involved in executive management decisions along with the president, CFO, and plant manager.  Fantastic opportunity to work with a market leader and work in a smaller organization where one can take on more responsibility.  Excellent culture within the facility that fosters creativity and open reign when it comes to sales strategy.  We offer an excellent compensation plan along with a

Major responsibilities/duties:

*Evaluate current customer base, product lines, and services. Write a three year sales plan that includes servicing existing customers, defining new customers, and targeting new prospects.

*Grow product lines

*Identify and co-manage launch of new products and services

*Participate in executive management decisions; recommending new   markets, new products, new services, and other ideas for significant change

 

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

*Contact primary, existing customers as necessary for maintenance

*Source new opportunities within the food and jan/san markets

*Develop vendor partnership style relationship with all customers providing solution oriented customer service

*Service the current customer base including walk in, pickups and any inquiries

 

Required Qualifications:

*3 years experience in either industial sales or selling to food manufacturers and 3 years of general sales experience with proven results

*Proven sales record of sales at premium margin and not price (margin selling)

*Exceptional organizational skills

*Pro-active and a true "go-getter"

*Good computer skills with experience with ACT or similar contact management software

*Solid aptitude with high intelligence level

*Excellent negotiator
