Test Engineer

Test and evaluate the function of products and systems within the government against the Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC) security settings. Review, evaluate, and document test results. Schedule, interact, and supervise testing alongside with government subject matter experts. Image, update, and configure test lab computers. Conduct testing for internal teams' patches and software pushes. Document and post all results.(M)

Required Skills

Knowledge of standard software applications and how they function within a government environment. In depth knowledge of FDCC settings and how they affect Windows workstations. Prior test lab experience for documentation of testing for software applications and standard hardware. Knowledge of Windows XP and Vista. Knowledge of local group policy settings.

Prior test lab experience in a government environment.
