We have an immediate need for a MS SharePoint Developer/​Administrator to join our development team on a full-time basis.​ We are looking for a candidate with 3 to 5+​ years of SharePoint development and administration experience.​

Our SharePoint solutions utilize a blend of custom configurations and custom code architected for our customers in industries spanning energy, retail, manufacturing and more.​

Responsibilities include heavy involvement with existing project lead in the software lifecycle from conception to architecture and design, through development and testing, to delivery and maintenance.​ The candidate should have a solid background in SharePoint administration, from setting up the environment to custom configurations to performing updates, etc.​



Skills Required:

· Development or Administering Microsoft SharePoint 2007, including server requirements and set-up and configuration of environment

· Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 a plus

· Using Central Administration and stadmin and/​or PowerShell for administering SharePoint services, features, and service providers

· Creation and maintenance of Sites and Site Collections

· Maintaining data integrity and back-up /​ recovery practices

· Understanding of user policy and delegation of permissions, with familiarity in Active Directory

· Familiarity with search functionality including services, optimization, and scope

· Maintenance of user profiles and properties via the “MySites” feature

· Integration of Microsoft Office via the enabling and configuration the appropriate services, such as Excel and InfoPath, etc

· Understanding of workflows and their design

· Knowledge of enabling features via XML, CAML, and HTML a plus.​

· IIS 6.​0 or IIS 7.​0

· Strong English language and communication skills for requirements gathering

· Strong documentation skills

· Experience in any areas of the Software Development LifeCycle

(as simply as design, development, implementation, and /​ or maintenance)

· Experience writing Statements of Work, software Design documents, etc.​ a plus.​

· Capable of working on multiple projects.​
