Aerotek Professional Services Location: Milwaukee, WI 53215 Salary: 65,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD /year Position Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Legal Sr Paralegal/Legal Assistant  Job Description: Our client, at manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their staff.On a day to day basis, this candidate will be responsible for managing outside counsel and files relating to litigation, claims and disputed matters involving Surface equipment and discontinued lines of equipment. This candidate will also coordinate outside counsel and manage product liability, environmental and corporate litigated cases. Review invoices and provide recommendations for approval or modification to supervising attorney. Provide periodic updates on status of cases and exposure, including quarterly updates for SEC filings. Coordinate outside counsel opinion letters when required. This candidate may also be maintaining Department Matter Management software relating to current and historical litigated matters and disputes. Work with Department Administrative Assistant to maintain legal cross-reference filing system and manage offsite records retention.To be qualified for this position, this candidate will have a Bachelors Degree and minimum of ten (5) years legal experience. Experience as a paralegal/legal assistant with prior experience in a significant law firm and with a publicly traded corporation law department together with exposure to and understanding of international transactions.Required Skills: LEGAL, Manufacturing, ORGANIZATION COMMUNICATION SKILLS, OFFICE/COMPUTER SKILLSJoin Aerotek Professional Services.
