Senior Business Analyst

On behalf of our client Procom Consultants Group is currently searching for a Senior Business Analyst for a 9 month contract.​ Below are some further details regarding the opportunity.​

Reporting to the Associate Director Public Health Analytics, the Senior Business Analyst will have two primary areas of focus.​

-Specific deliverables related to the Panorama Immunization functionality including the immunization forecaster and associated configuration and testing work.​

- The Business Analyst (BA) will provide leadership in the definition of and knowledge transfer to the Panorama Operational Support Team (OST) including development of Operational Support Team system administration guides that are tailored for the British Columbia and Yukon maintenance of Panorama immunizations and the forecaster functionality.​

- This BA will play a key role in assisting Solution Partner (SP) business experts on clinical implementations from a Provincial perspective– including changes to business processes, systems and technology, and clinical practice change related to implementation of decision support tools.​

- The Business Analyst will be expected to have in depth data and process knowledge in the Panorama system’s front end functionality across multiple modules and conduct work in the areas of Business Fit Assessment, Gap Analysis, Standardized Business Workflow, User Acceptance and Data Testing.​



The Business Analysts will work with the Solution Partner (SP) business teams made of the following business subject matter experts:

· Public Health Nurses (immunization, CD, and/​or outbreak experts);

· Epidemiologists (enterics, influenza, respiratory, general, etc);

· Family Health SMEs;

· Clerical staff (data entry and logistics); and

· Administration/​Management (reports and Work Management).​



Responsibilities include:

· Immunization Decision Support Preparation

o Contribute to plan of activities required to configure, test, change and deploy the Panorama immunization forecaster

o Lead the development of OST support materials for sustainment of the forecaster

o Lead the preparation for, and organization of knowledge transfer to the OST for sustainment of the forecaster

o Lead documentation and submission of issues arising from testing

o Assist with issue remediation

o Provide support in the development and execution of test scripts related to the forecaster for both BCY immunization program rules as well as data conversion

· Business /​ Fit Analysis:

o Work with SP’s and the Business Readiness team to build future state clinical business process and workflows for Panorama functionality in today’s environment

o Understand delivered functionality in Panorama (future state), participate in workshops, and define gaps between current and future state business operations creating provincially consistent workflows where possible).​

· User Acceptance Testing and Data Testing specific to immunizations:

o Provides the OST and SP test resources with advice/​leadership related to testing requirements.​

o Work includes building test scenarios and monitoring testing activities along with results related to the Immunization Forecaster

o Assist SP’s to define and build final target state processes, procedures, workflow and roles/​responsibilities that will support HA business for the Panorama implementation

o Identify activities focused on preparing SP’s for a new system.​

§ Determine the organization’s technical, business and human capacity to accommodate the new system

§ Assist with readiness assessments, evaluate results

§ Identify areas impacted by change and the processes to support change to help with implementation success and reduce overall project risk

· Training:

o Provide advice and leadership to the OST and SP trainers related to immunization training

· Deployment:

o Be prepared to assist SP’s deployment and coordination function as required



Requirements and Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred Master’s)

· Minimum 2 years prior experience in Healthcare with a particular focus on public health and immunization programs

· Experience or familiarity with workflow analysis, User acceptance testing plans, and change management

· Experience and detailed knowledge of Panorama

· Experience implementing immunization decision support tools

· Ability to produce support documentation for clinical systems
