Information Tech Support Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Initial point of contact for all MCP computer and phone users
· Conduct Level 1 support by troubleshooting and resolving IT/Phone issues and prioritize and distribute support work orders to Level 2 IT support when needed
· Coordinate training programs and FAQ’s on MCP systems
· Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
· Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
· Research questions using available information resources
· Advise user on appropriate action
· Follow standard help desk procedures
· Log all help desk interactions
· Administer help desk software
· Redirect problems to appropriate resource
· Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
· Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
· Prepare activity reports
· Stay current with system information, changes and updates
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Demonstrated experience with Microsoft office 2010
o Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access
· Demonstrated experience with SharePoint2010
· Excellent communication skills
· Demonstrated experience with computer laptop, desktop, file server, and phone system
· Demonstrated experience with Windows XP and 7 Operating Systems
· Demonstrated experience with Windows Server 2003 and 2008
· Education: 2 years of technical school; Associate’s Degree
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
· Mincom experience
