Inventory Management and Load Quality Control



 

Responsibilities and duties:



Improve perpetual inventory accuracy through a program of cycle counting.





On a test basis, verify accuracy and consistency of warehouse location coding.





Verify all "down grades" due to damage or fabrication errors.





Verify on a test basis all outgoing "OT" loads. (Primary responsibility for this procedure is the driver.)





Review and approve returns and determine disposition of product.





On a test basis, audit outgoing Will Call/Common Carrier loads for accuracy





Be alert for warehouse or sales process violations and report them to the general manager.





First review of daily back-order list generated by night loading supervisor.





Other assignments from warehouse manager or general manager.
