ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT

 

The Park Avenue Armory is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to restore, renovate and revitalize the historic landmark Park Avenue Armory as a contemporary arts institution whose programming uses the vast space of its drill hall and the array of magnificent period rooms to present visual and performing arts that resist the confines of formal proscenium halls and white-box galleries.  The Conservancy is dedicated to weaving the Armory back into the fabric of New York City as a center for culture, innovation and learning, filling a crucial niche in the cultural landscape of the city.

 

The Park Avenue Armory seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the President/CEO. 

 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Outlook and able to multi-task in busy office environment.  Duties include complex scheduling, meeting planning, calendar maintenance, answering phone calls, travel arrangements, expense reports, correspondence and general office responsibilities.  Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written are required.  Experience in the arts is a plus. 

 

Salary to the mid-$40’s, commensurate with experience, with excellent benefits.
