Movers Specialty Service, Inc. is the leading provider of third party specialty moving and relocation services.  We provide Solutions on Demand for movers and relocation customers by coordinating a nationwide network of service specialists and technicians to meet our customer’s special needs during a move. Based in our Montgomeryville, PA headquarters and hub service facility, our Dispatchers are responsible for assigning orders to contractors who provide various services for MSS and its customers.  A Dispatcher sees that the services requested are properly carried out with respect to time parameters, technical procedures, customer service and pricing. The Dispatcher position requires highly organized coordination, rapid response follow-up and superior problem solving skills and creativity to satisfy both customer’s needs and MSS business requirements in a high-volume work environment.  Tasks include:Prioritizing orders and selecting approved service providers to fulfill each order Communicating specific order requirements with provider and scheduling service Analyzing cost of services and assigning appropriate pricing as required  Documenting and entering order information and completing all required paperwork  Confirming appointments and services and responding to any issues Adjusting daily order and provider work schedule as needed in a timely manner Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with primary service specialist  Researching and engaging new service providers as needed using a variety of resources. Updating and maintain service provider database as changes occur

Success in this position requires ability to obtain detailed knowledge of MSS services and their applications. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential job requirements. Basic computer proficiency is required as are basic math skills needed to determine job costing, discounting and calculating profit margin.  High school diploma and at least two years experience in work scheduling, dispatching or high-volume customer service is required. Relocation and mover industry experience is highly desired and valued.
