Network Video Production Specialist
Journal Interactive, the online division for Journal Communications, a Milwaukee-based organization which provides oversight, support, services and strategy for the Journal online network of broadcast and newspaper publishing Web sites, seeks a motivated professional for the position of Network Video Production Specialist.
Responsibilities
As the Network Video Production Specialist, you will be responsible for making broadcast news video available as online video clips for all of the Journal Broadcast Group TV Web sites. Job duties will entail prioritizing if and where clips appear online, editing the clips, posting online and communicating the video clip status with each property.
This is a terrific entry level opportunity for the right person. The Journal Broadcast Group has 8 television stations with news operations spread across the country. This specialist will work across our broadcast television network to provide video content for online.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a knowledge of video editing and strong web skills.
Strong coordination and multi-tasking skills for multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Excellent organization and communication skills, with an exceptional eye for detail.
Excellent written, oral & proofreading skills.
Experience in Web and video editing
Familiarity with Flash, java script and emerging technologies a plus
Strong news judgment, but for an online audience
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
