Sr. Financial Analyst – DineEquity, Inc.



Job Summary



DineEquity, Inc., franchisor of Applebee’s and IHOP Restaurants, seeks an energetic and driven Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis and support to a wide range of corporate and shared service departments within the organization. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with Senior Management and to be exposed to a wide range of corporate finance issues.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assist with preparation of annual budget - budget setups, user training, analysis, and summary
* Assist with G&A and forecast-related analysis
* Assist with financial statement consolidation for parent company
* Maintain flex budgets
* Assist with Securitization calculations and reporting
* Assist other departments with financial information and analysis
* Other ad-hoc analysis

Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required)

* Bachelor’s degree in business, MBA and/or CPA a plus, previous financial planning/analysis experience with building financial models, ad-hoc analysis, and the ability to work with all levels in the organization
* Experience with budgeting processes and applications (Hyperion Planning a plus)
* Ability to prepare complex financial models
* Ability to work cooperatively with all levels in the company
* Ability to prepare and present financial analysis and findings to senior level management
* Experience with Hyperion Essbase Excel Add-in, PeopleSoft and Microsoft office
