The Role



Reporting to the Director, Service Solutions, the Business Process Manager (BPM) coordinates Returns Analyses and Reverse Logistics.​ This role also processes information in order to identify, develop and implement required return processes and enhancements in all areas of the company.​ The expected outcome is to reduce overall reverse logistics and after sales expenses and maximize company profitability, achieved by working closely with other areas of the company, including Retail Operations, Merchandising and Finance as well as third party after market companies.​



This position also manages the reporting function for the service division, developing targeted reporting, together with analysis, to increase the profitability of the company.​





Responsibilities

Coordinates analysis and returns and defective information to drive business decisions.​ Manage the gathering and administration of the required information in order to conduct expected analyses/​reporting.​ Manage the identification, investigation and assessment of short and long term opportunities for process improvement and simplification.​ Develop the creation, implementation and documentation of new processes.​ The analyses’ cost reduction impact to the company will range from hundreds of thousand dollars to millions of dollars per year.​
Manages Write-Off processes.​ Responsible for generating write-off budget and write-off financial results.​ Train/​Educate other areas of the company on WO related topics like process, WO impact and WO financial results.​ Create and maintain the methodology for write off budgets and communicate to the highest levels of the organization.​
Creates new score carding measurements for whole of service division; manage project teams and communication plan.​ Will work with key stakeholders to identify success critical measurements and proactively develop appropriate reporting to relevant audience
Manages, coaches and development of three team members with differing roles and experience.​ Motivates the team to excellence, identify and praise when appropriate and challenge when necessary.​ Develops valuable goals for self and team that maximize development opportunities.​
Provides ad hoc as well as regular support on Service Solutions and Returns and Recovery (R&R) related projects.​ Manages the data requirements and tasks appropriately utilizing specific skill sets within the team.​



Requirements



All requirements are based on the following years of experience, including but not limited to the following:

5+​ years:
Supply chain, logistics or service operations experience
Experience with IT systems, SQL, MS Excel, MS Access
2+​years:
Retail or reverse logistics experience

Education

Relevant Undergraduate Degree is required
MBA with specialization in Supply Chain/​ Logistics IT and/​or Finance is considered an asset.​ However, equivalent work experience would be considered.​
