Due to our continued growth, Primex Wireless is seeking a PROGRAM MANAGER to be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of new product introduction programs for the Primex Wireless business. This includes preparations of proposals, plans, specifications and financial conditions of the assigned program (s).  The Program Manager ensures adherence to master plans and schedules develops solutions to program problems and directs work of assigned parties to the program. This person also ensures  projects are completed on time, within budget and meet customer specifications.

Key Job Activities:Directly develop/manage program scope, schedule and budget with daily, weekly, monthly review of goals, milestones and deliverables.Produce plans that reflect business and technology ability to meet stated goals and milestones.Identify and manage all critical paths related to the program. Anticipate bottlenecks and assess risks and develop/manage critical risk management plans.Recognize and drive opportunities for schedule optimization.Drive closure on all issues and deliverables of New Product Introduction program.Create, present and issue on-going program updates and presentations to upper management as scheduled.Interact with cross-functional management teams, suppliers, customers, and outside agencies. Ability to travel internationally. Expected travel 25%

 

Education and Experience:BS or MS in Engineering field. MBA preferred.Program Management (PM) certificationBlack belt or Green belt training or certification a plus. At least 5 years experience high tech development experience with responsibility for taking products from concept to market. Demonstrated ability to work across functions to identify issues and facilitate resolutions. Ability to multi-task and work within strong peer level relationships.
