We currently have an immediate need for a Software Development Engineer



1. Contribute as part of a development team, reporting to a Principal Development Engineer or directly to the SW Development Manager.​ Interface with Engineering peers within or outside our group, Project Managers, Engineering Services, Manufacturing Engineers, Purchasing and others as required.​
2. Design and implement automation test software targeted to test the different hardware modules (PCBs) developed by the company.​
3. Participate in combination with other company groups in the design and implementation of embedded controllers, embedded management agent, embedded Web server, and other real-time applications.​
4. Create module/​sub-module technical specifications based upon system level requirements, project plans and other appropriate processes.​
5. Implements company design standards to meet industry wide standards.​
6. Responsible for design reviews, code reviews, and unit test reviews.​



Job Requirements:
Qualifications< !-- span-->

1.​ & nbsp; BSEE, BSCS, BSCE or equivalent, 1 to 3 years SW development experience.​

2.​ & nbsp; VEE, VB, Java, TCL and C language programming experience are essential.​

3.​ & nbsp; Good handling of real time operating systems and structured programming concepts is expected.​

4.​ & nbsp; Experience using digital design test equipment including in-circuit emulation tools, debuggers, protocol analyzers, Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers.​

5.​ & nbsp; Hands on experience with microprocessor/​microcontroller systems, with understanding of their HW designs and layouts
Additional Desirables

1.​ & nbsp; Knowledge of microwave radio environments and their components and functions.​

2.​ & nbsp; Experience with simulation assisted design tools.​

3.​ & nbsp; Knowledge of internet protocols, MPLS and PBB-TE
