NRC ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES INC. a west coast company specializing in emergency response, project services, industrial cleaning and hazardous waste services, is seeking a highly motivated person to fill a key corporate position working out of Kent, Washington.

 

PRIMARY PUROPOSE

Supports all administrative functions for the NRCES Corporate Safety Director and PNW Logistical Resource Division

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SAFETY ASSISTANT

·  Assists with preparation of safety bid qualifications including assembling osha 300’s, copies of drug and alcohol program and NRC or NRCES Safety Program. Review quality control of submittal and meet established deadlines

·  Maintain / Manage safety data base; Update corporate matrix (Excel) and establish corporate file of pdf documents related to attendance and certificates of completion.

·  Send physical exam and training due date reminders to Pacific Northwest Personnel. Track completion of schedules.

·  Update safety training documents to ISN.   

·  Assist in submittal of accidents to 3rd party brokers (Benfield), L&I and Approach

DOT ASSISTANT

·  Driver Daily Logs, Acquire, review for accuracy, scan, process, prepare violation reports.  Enters reviews and maintains driver data updates in RapidLog as necessary.

·  Collect and provide data for new equipment (form provided) submit via email to EMDS admin assistant.

·  Prepare new Vehicle Trip Sheets monthly, insure they are placed in the vehicles on the first day of each month.  Collect previous months trip sheets.

·  Prepare previous months trip sheets for data entry

·  Enter Trip Sheet data into PM database.

·  Prepare & print the PM due schedule, submit to M&R shop foreman.

·  Collect M&R Repair Orders (RO) from maintenance shop daily.  Enter M&R data into EMDS, print report and file.

·  Prepare monthly ODOT fuel tax report.  Vehicle Trip Sheets and Fuel Summary Report required for preparation and backup data.  Prepare quarterly IFTA report using Fuel Summary and Vehicle Trip sheets enter data onto IFTA summary spread Sheet

·  Maintain Vehicle licensing as necessary.  Annual prorate licensing is prepared once a calendar year for selected vehicles.

·  Monitor the issue and security of all fuel cards assigned to individuals and vehicles.

·  Prepare driver qualification files for new drivers.  Submit required date for Driver File Maintenance as needed to maintain driver qualification.

RESOURCE ASSISTANT

·  Monitors inventory in supply warehouse as needed

·  Prepares purchase orders in Oracle as needed.

·  Receives incoming supplies into oracle.

·  Matches invoices in Oracle

·  Helps with annual inventories, prepares and submits inventory data for accounting.

·  Establishes own priority schedule to complete assigned tasks. Problems lacking  clear precedent are reviewed with Supervisor before action is taken.

·  Does not have the authority or power to make an independent choice, free from immediate direction or supervision and with respect to matters of significance. 

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  -

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE  - 

The qualified candidate will generally have at least five years of administrative experience. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required in order to work effectively with Clients and Operations Personnel.  Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Access. Experience with medical records and or loss control desirable. .
