Business Analyst
“K” Line America, Inc. is a leader in the steamship industry and one of several successful organizations under the “K” Line group of companies. Currently, we are seeking a highly motivated professional to fill the role of Business Analyst in our Richmond, VA Marketing/Pricing department.
The Business Analyst will be an integral part of the Marketing/Pricing department with the following responsibilities:Analyzing prospective and existing businessDeveloping rate quotes based on independent research/market analysisWorking directly with Sales and Operations to gain knowledge of account requirements, operations, feasibility, and costs to be considered. Maintaining service contracts and tariff records, customer bids, and attending customer meetings for analysis and presentation purposes.
The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related fieldas well as excellent verbal/written communication skills.Equally as important are:The willingness to learn our required systemsThe flexibility to adapt quickly to a changing/challenging business environmentLeadership skillsCreativity and initiativeThe ability to function effectively in a team environmentA high level of negotiation and problem resolution skills
