Benefits Manager
The Benefits Manager position is responsible for managing the daily benefits administration of programs focused on benefits and compensation for multiple regional offices throughout the United States.
Requires working knowledge of a variety of benefits programs and some exposure to introductory compensation practices. Will design, recommend, implement and administer compensation and benefits plans, programs, policies and procedures to achieve strategic business objectives, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and optimize cost. Conducts compensation and benefits planning and benchmarking, selects and participates in salary surveys and performs market analysis to provide the foundation for merit budget, salary range and competitive pay practices. Manages the administration of benefits programs and policies including health, dental, life, 401K, etc. Enrollments and terminations, coordination of payroll deductions, plan renewals, COBRA compliance, etc. Researches and monitors trends and best practices in compensation and benefits programs. Workers Compensation claim filing and management Family Medical Leave documentation, employee correspondence, and FMLA compliance. Communication with employees and management team to answer questions and address concerns.
Bachelors degree in human resources or related field
Minimum 5-7 years experience in Benefits Manager role with benefits administration and knowledge of compensation.
Strong experience in 401K
CEBS Certification (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) required
Will be based out of Morgantown, WV.
