Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant Provides administrative and secretarial support for a Major Gifts Director. Duties include typing, filing, scheduling, coordinating meetings and conferences, coordinating direct mailings. Non -routine correspondence; assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. HS diploma or equivalent; Associate?s or Business school degree preferred. 3-4 years experience in a secretarial support role for a mid-level manager or higher. General knowledge of business and an excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment. Proficient in MS Office, e-mail and Internet. Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic analytical ability; attention to detail; effectively prioritize tasks. Type 40?45 wpm.
