Director of Marketing and Membership Sales

The Director of Marketing and Membership Sales is the first line of communication with prospective members of the club and must be able to make a good first impression.  The job requires developing and implementing programs, projects and activities to increase membership in the club.  This position will report to the club’s general manager and have significant interaction with the club’s board of governors. 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

¨  Increasing the membership of the club

¨  Visiting local businesses for prospective members

¨  Significant cold-calling and marketing to upscale groups

¨  Getting involved with local civic organizations

¨  Marketing the club

 

Requirements:

 

¨  Self-motivated/Self-Starter

¨  Sales oriented

¨  Outgoing personality

¨  Effective communicator

¨  Computer literacy

¨  Good telephone etiquette

¨  Willingness to work weekends

¨  College degree preferred but not mandatory

¨  Knowledge of golf preferred

 

Compensation:
