University Communications Specialist
West Virginia University is accepting applications for 2 University Communication Specialists in News & Information Services who will help oversee the development of editorial content for WVU’s news, marketing and public information materials, including news releases, periodicals and websites.
Located in Morgantown, WV – noted as one of the “best small cities in America” by multiple publications – WVU is a public, land-grant institution and a Carnegie Foundation "Research University," with 15 colleges and schools offering 185 academic programs. The University enrolls around 28,000 students annually.
Minimum qualifications: a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years experience in a news, communication, or public relations program for a college, news media organization, government agency, or other large organization; interviewing, writing and editing, and media relations skills. Master's degree preferred.
