Faculty, Pediatric Occupational Therapy, Full-Time, Tenure Track Fall 2009

Salem State College’s Occupational Therapy department is seeking to fill a tenure track faculty position.  The newly developed Master of Science in Occupational Therapy requires the addition of a OTD or Ph.D. trained pediatric specialist to meet current accreditation standards and to provide pediatric expertise in program development.  Subject to available funding.

Required qualifications include a Ph.D. or OTD in Occupational Therapy or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of practice in a pediatric setting.

Preferred qualifications a Ph.D. or OTD in Occupational Therapy with a SIPT certification in pediatrics.  College teaching experience and experience in and commitment to teaching in a multiracial, multiethnic environment with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles, as well as in distance learning and instructional technologies, and candidates who enjoy serving as role models and mentors for a diverse student body.





The salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Application review will begin in the Fall of 2008 and continue until an adequate pool is developed.
