The effort will include; GUI automation, integrated message automation, tool creation, installation scripting, performance and scalability tests, and ad-hoc efforts as needed. The position will be responsible for working collaboratively within the team to iteratively work through the statements of work. An engineer may only be responsible for one type of test scripting e.g. GUI, performance, etc. JOB SKILLS: Familiarity and practical use of Mercury test tools is required: QuickTestPro or Winrunner. Familiarity with JUnit is a plus Experience creating tools for automation also a plus. Experience with XML and SOAP highly desirable. Understanding of SDLCs and how automation applies is required Familiarity with ClearQuest desirable The Automation engineer will be responsible for delivering and maintaining GUI, Protocol Node, setup, or initialization scripts.
