Position Description:

Starting pay depends on experience ($11.95 and up)Hours: Mon - Thurs, 6:00 am - 4:30 pmBASIC ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENTJob duties to include general maintenance on air compressors, sewing machines, CNC cutting equipment, electrical and electronic controls as well as general machine and facilities maintenance. Must be willing to work at elevated heights from a scissor lift and operate a forklift in the execution of the job. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Ensures plant safety by providing a safe environment for employees and actively supports the STOP program and Brunswick SMS procedures. - Responds to service requests- Troubleshoots various types of machinery or equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.)- Diagnoses, repairs or replaces defective parts, machinery or equipment- Works extensively with power and hand tools- Installs or removes part, machinery or equipment as requested- Complies with all quality standards and policies- Other special tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

EDUCATIONHS Diploma and technical school with general maintenance or electrical emphasis preferredEXPERIENCEExperience in industrial electrical maintenance and/or sewing/cutting machine repair required PLC Troubleshooting, welding and fabrication experience a plusSuccessful candidates:- Work efficiently with minimum supervision- Clearly and courteously communicate with machine operatorsThis job requires full range of motion. May require twisting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, frequent standing and walking. Lifting is frequent with most items weighing from 5 to 50 lbs. There is an occasional lifting of 75lbs. Assistance from others is available for heavier items.
