Sport Supply Group, Inc. the national leader in the Sporting Goods Industry is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic professional with a positive attitude to work in our corporate office. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as Accounts Receivable Associate. 

The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for the daily processing of customer payments (i.e. reconcile, post and code customer payments), process and post credit card transactions including customer disputes/chargeback’s, process and post customer credit and debit memo’s, performing account reconciliation with customers and other employees in the company, remote deposit, unclaimed properties and ACH/Wire transactions. Additional responsibilities include answering inbound queue line calls, customer concern resolution, assisting “walk in payment” customers, identify, clean up and maintain all unidentified or unapplied items and working with customer’s to resolve and reconcile their account. 



Requirements


A minimum of 3-5 years of previous AR experience required and a Bachelors degree is preferred.  Must be detail oriented with good organizational and time management skills.  Must be customer service oriented and have the ability to work well with all departments.  Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.  Must be skilled in 10-key by touch.  The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, motivated, enthusiastic, energetic professional with a positive and motivating team attitude as well as be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
