Accounting Technician

Atlantis Events, the world’s largest gay and lesbian travel company, is looking for an organized accounting technician to join our team in West Hollywood.

This exciting opportunity is for an individual to help us manage accounting records, process payments, transfers and credits, update payment information in the reservation database, communicate with clients and vendors, and deposit payments.

The ideal candidate should be computer literate and possess a minimum of 2 years of recent professional work experience, preferably in an office environment. The candidate must have a working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices. We are a small company, with a friendly and casual work environment. Atlantis offers very competitive compensation, an excellent benefits package including medical and 401K.

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years professional experience, preferably in an office environment
Know ten-key by touch
Know how to use the Apple operating system
Experience with accounts payable coding
Must understand basic accounting concepts
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with MYOB AccountEdge is a plus
