Key Responsibilities:Key team member who is responsible for supervising staff; providing interim deliverables to clients (such as analyses of financial records or interview questions); and developing work plans for research, analysis and preparation of draft findings regarding investigations relating to potential employee misconduct such as embezzlement, fraud schemes or personnel issues. Investigators will also assist with corporate investigations assisting audit committees and counsel regarding revenue recognition, stock option backdating and other allegations of financial fraud. Responsibilities also include personally conducting and overseeing interviews, developing expert testimony; reviewing documents and files provided by litigants; preparing findings for presentation to audit committees, senior management and regulators; preparing trial exhibits; coordination with computer forensics professionals; overseeing quality control procedures; project administration; and management of document intensive investigations. Position includes working as a member of teams on multiple projects simultaneously, consistent contact with clients at mid-size and major law firms and execution of business development initiatives. Qualifications:'Bachelors Degree (pref. Major in accounting, economics, or finance) 'CPA and/or other advanced certification (Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Internal Auditor) 'Financial or economic analysis, business valuation or public accounting experience '8 + years experience in professional services, litigation strategy, engagement assessment and/ or general principles related to conducting investigations.
