Software Design Engineer in Test -SDET

The best candidate should have a good test methodology background. They should also have plenty of experience in understanding product cycles and testing milestones. Candidates must be self-starters who can adapt to new technology quickly, have good communication skills, and have the ability to see the big picture as well as understand the fine details of imagery tools and libraries written in C#. Candidates should also have solid experience in software test and test automation, strong coding skills and excellent troubleshooting skills. Job responsibilities include participating in spec reviews, writing and implementing comprehensive test plans, generating full-coverage test cases, designing and creating test tools, along with creating, maintaining, and owning test automation suites. You will drive and own feature testing from spec to release and beyond.

The role would be primarily responsible for the following:
Working daily with other testers and developers
Define the correct test automation architecture to use in different test environments
Develop tools and harnesses to assist with your daily testing activities
Diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot issues at the system level and at the coding level
Enter bugs and report status

Qualifications include a minimum of four years experience in test development. You must be fluent in C++/C#. Experience with PCI Geomatica, OrthoVista, or Visual Studio is a large plus. BS degree in CS or equivalent experience required.
