DavidBartonGym is seeking a strong sales person for its pre-eminent Upper East Side location.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background in and keen understanding of customer service. The cornerstone of this sales opportunity is relationship building with high end / high profile clientele.  The ideal candidate will be an educated individual with refined sensibility who enjoys networking to produce new business.  DBG is seeking a sales person who will not only continue to service existing customers but will expand the customer base to include a hipper, younger, "uptown" clientele.  This candidate must also be able to multi-task, work well in a team environment and should be aggressive enough to challenge co-workers to better themselves and reach personal and team goals.

DavidBartonGym sales professionals must be driven, self motivated and enjoy the challenges of working in a fast paced work environment.  To be a member of the sales team for DavidBartonGym, a candidate should have a refined sense of customer service, a firm background in sales and the desire to work in a high-energy, dynamic, goal oriented sales environment.

DBG currently has locations in New York City, Miami and Chicago and is recognized in the fitness industry for our success in personal training, our innovative group training programs and the superior level of service we provide. Our sales people, or Membership Advisors, play a critical role in developing our membership base and retaining our members by providing consistent, value-added service.

If you have previous sales experience with an ability to build relationships, strong customer service focus, communication, organization, time management and follow-up skills, you are the candidate that we want as part of our team.

DBG offers compensation ranging from $85K - $135K. The Membership Advisor is a full-time position and is compensated through a combination of base salary and commissions based on business drivers.

Requirements

Membership Advisors are expected to achieve/exceed sales goals for new memberships, renewal memberships and private training sales and renewals. All Membership Advisors are expected to create outreach opportunities and consistently communicate with existing members to create new business leads. Daily prospecting, both externally and internally, is required. Our Membership Advisors must demonstrate an interest in the fitness industry and be knowledgeable about all DBG products and services. The successful Membership Advisor is creative and goal driven and must be available to work days, evening, weekends and holidays as needed.
