Accounting Manager Summary
Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager for their Burbank location.

Accounting Manager ResponsibilitiesManage the division’s general ledger month-end closing process, including assisting division facilities in their accounting period close, reviewing and approving all journal transactions and ensuring that the close calendar is strictly observed and followed.Analyze and approve monthly deferred revenue of about $12.0 million and accrued NR of less than $20.0 million, ensuring that revenue recognized is correctly statedAnalyze on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis the actual against estimate of revenue, expenses and margin.Prepare cause of change (COC) reports for both P&L and balance sheet accounts, and explain material variances in various meetings with upper management.Review and approve the division’s inter-company activity and reporting.Manage and approve the preparation of the monthly management financial reporting package, including consolidated financial statements, single entity reporting, regulatory reporting for the U.K. and Singapore network facilities to be submitted to corporate and reporting by operational unit and foreign financial.Review and approve all balance sheet and P&L accounts reconciliation.Directly liaise with the Finance team to prepare fiscal budgets and quarterly forecast models for the division.Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting for the U.S., U.K. and Singapore network facilities.Perform quarterly balance sheet forecasting using historical trends.Assist in the preparation and review of sales tax, business tax and business property tax returns.Supervise the Sarbanes audit and review engagements for the division, and answers all compliance-related questions for quarterly and year-end audits.Responsible for the internal and external operational division audits at quarter-end and year-end.Perform post-merger accounting integration.Create ad hoc reports and projects to create and implement effective financial reports.Manage the Senior Financial Analyst in areas of general ledger month-end closing processes, accounting and monthly account reconciliations.Liaise with corporate partners, outside vendors, other departments and divisions to research and resolve ongoing discrepancies and issues, support business initiatives, directives and implementation of new programs.
