Administrative Assistant

Century City accounting firm has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant. This position is paid hourly with work hours from 9am to 6pm,   Monday through Friday.

Some duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Reception, handle incoming calls & daily mail, manage contacts/calendar database, assist with scheduling & confirming appointments, maintain inventory & order supplies, various research as needed, assist with processing of A/P, A/R, invoicing, billing statements, itemize and track various expenses, correspondence with vendors and clients, scan and manage office files, bind and process marketing materials, prepare courier shipments and assist with office equipment maintenance. Dealings with multiple departments & clients as needed; includes verification of medical insurance, follow-up on open claims, miscellaneous errands, etc.Qualifications must include the following:  detail oriented, good telephone etiquette, computer and internet savvy, good oral and written communication skills, proactive self-starter worth ethic, extremely organized, able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment, proficient with Microsoft Office – especially Word and Excel, and type at least 45 WPM.  Experience with QuickBooks is a plus, but not required.  Salary range is $10-$15.50 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
